Chain & Sprocket numbers are determined by multiplying the pitch by 80 (a 1/2 inch pitch chain & sprocket would be a No. 40 chain & sprocket). A hyphenated suffix indicates multiple strands.D40B60 sprocket is a durable, premium quality, and precision 60 tooth double sprocket that is manufactured out of high-quality steel. This sprocket is manufactured for optimum performance, durability, and to strict quality control standards. Something else that is notable about this sprocket is that it fully meets all ANSI Standards, which insures proper contact between the #40-2 double roller chain & sprocket and sprocket thus preventing premature wear or breakage. It is also black oxide coated which increases resistance to the environment and will prevent early rust build up. D40B60 sprockets with a stock bore has the standard 15/16″ inside diameter hole with no keyway or setscrews and can be easily machine bored to custom sizes.
